Set several years after the original events of Super Meat Boy, the narrative of Super Meat Boy Forever follows Meat Boy and Bandage Girl in a peaceful time with their child, Nugget. During a picnic, Dr. Fetus ambushes them, incapacitating Meat Boy and Bandage Girl and kidnapping Nugget. Determined to rescue their daughter, the protagonists embark on a relentless pursuit filled with familiar and new worlds, facing brutal levels where death is frequent but rewarding upon victory. The gameplay involves running, jumping, punching, and kicking through perilous environments to confront their enemies.
